The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to your community.
SASSA might be rendering services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency mentioned it is actually alarmed concerning the superior amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The services place developed for intervention experiences a higher inflow of potential beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for that office to attend to all people who check out a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to enable the servicing of all shoppers and maximize entry to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
